The US government was once trusted by all citizens of the US until this assassination. The story, explained by the US government, was the there was one shooter and only three shots. Almost everything contradicts this story in the video of the assassination taken by Zapruder. Because of this the US population has lost trust in their government and has come up with many conspiracy theories. The theory I believe in relation to the JFK assassination is involved with the Cuban Missile Crisis. Because the Cuban government aligned itself with Russia and became a communist country. This meant that the mobs lost all their money and land they had tied to it. The mobs were very angered with this and brought in some foreign help. The CIA had established a plan with the mobs to take back Cuba without actually sending US troops in. But the only way this attack could succeed is if JFK approved air support for the mob. He didn't and almost all the mobs were either arrested or killed. Because of this fall through of air support it is possible the Cuban mobs were very angered with him and followed through with the kill with the
In the 50's, the US had a growing paranoia of the spread of communism in the world. To try and stop the growth of communism the US introduced the Eisenhower Doctrine. Under the Eisenhower Doctrine there were several groups created to manage the rest of the world. These groups consisted of: OAS which overlooked Latin America, ANZUS which overlooked Australia and New Zealand, SEATO which overlooked Southeast Asia, CENTO which overlooked the Middle East. Another group that previously existed was NATO which overlooked North America. This Doctrine was created by the succeeding president to Truman, Dwight D. Eisenhower. Another way to avoid the expansion of communism and avoid war was a "friendly coexistence". This happened through the competition in science. The famous space race between Russia and the US and gave people something to celebrate.
After WW2 Communism was a growing issue in the eastern world. The US had plans to make sure communism didn't reach further then Europe. At the time the US president was Truman. He introduced the Truman Doctrine when Britain pulled out of Greece. This Doctrine "drew a line in the sand" by sending money to Europe. The US ended up pledging 400 million to Greece and Turkey to prevent the spread of communism. Another plan that was introduce was the Marshal Plan. This plan was designed to provide aid to 16 nations that applied for it over a 4 year period. Czechoslovakia was the only country that lost aid because it was taken over by Russia in 1948. These plans were effective at stopping communism from 1945-1950.
